Sophie Belinda Jonas Turner is an American actress who was born on 21 February 1996. She made her debut in acting as Sansa Stark on the HBO epic television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019) and her performance received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019.
She appeared in the television film The Thirteenth Tale in 2013 and starred in her feature film Another Me in 2013. Then she played in the action comedy Barely Lethal in 2015 and starred as Jean Grey / Phoenix in the X-Men film series (2016–2019).

Her drama teacher encouraged her to audition for the part and even she dyed her hair blonde for the role. She appeared wearing wig in Season 7. Her performance as Sansa made her nominated in 2012 for Young Artist best performance in TV series.
In 2013, Her first movie role as the lead character in the thriller film Another Me was released in 2013. She played as Adeline March in the 2013 television film The Thirteenth Tale. In the same year, she was cast in the comedy film Barely Lethal opposite to Hailee Steinfeld and film was released on 29 May 2015. She then narrated the audiobook of short story ‘the Girl in the Mirror’. She starred as mutant Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse, which was released in May 2016.
She became patron of Women for Women in March 2017 which is an organization that supports female war survivors. She began first international brand ambassador of Wella Hair in June 2017. In March and April 2018, she filmed the independent film Heavy in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
