Kōki Kameda former boxer born November 17, 1986 was professional fight from 2003-2015. He is the three weight-world-champion, where he hold the WBA-light-flyweight title from 2006-2007, and the WBC-lineal-flyweight titles from 2009-2010, also the WBA-bantam-weight title for two times in 2010 and 2013

When he was 14 years old at 2000, he manage to get some national attention by fighting with former world champion, Hiroki Ioka. Ioka who was former flyweight champion could win his title in August 2006. Kameda believed he could knockout the former champion, but was fault as for the rule referee suggested. He has two brother daiki and tomoki who were also outstanding boxers.

His first attempt for the world title on august 2, 2006, he fight against with Juan Jose of Venezuela in Yokohama-Japan, at the World Boxing Association for the title of light flyweight.

On November 29, 2009, he won against Daisuke Naito for the WBC and lineal flyweight champion-ships.

Koki on March 27, 2010, fought against Wonjongkam for WBC Flyweight championship. The winner would named as The Ring’s Flyweight championship. Wonjongkam won against Kameda by 12 round majority decision and become the WBC-Flyweight champion.

Kameda on December 26, 2010 went for Bantamweight weight class and fought Alexander Munoz of Venezuela for the title WBA Bantamweight. He easily defeated Munoz and gains the title. In May 2012, he claimed to have injury that prevented him from fighting mandatory matches where he re-stored his title as Champion on November 2012, but vacated the title on December 2013.

His first fight was rather controversial as he won the fight in a split decision even though he was knocked down in the first round and was only dominated in the final two rounds. Controversy was started when Korean judge who scored the fight 114-113 in Kameda’s favor also gave the final round to Kameda 10-9. Through most of observer explained he did nothing should be tie up with his opponent and try to knocked out him in another round. If the Korean judge had favoured Landaeta, the Venezuelan would have won the match in final round. As for the existence of fight in his home town made advantage for its own native boy over foreign fighter. There were great controversial after the fight 50,000 calls of complain was recorded about the decision. Many believed that landaete was better boxer. Kameda was inexperienced and have less stamina. As kameda was 19 years only the bitterness was heard for his win. His father and trainer fight against the critics as it went to death threat. Kameda vacated his title of Light Flyweight championship January 22, 2007.
